The defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 195 Conn. App. 154, 223 A.3d 834 (2020), is granted, limited to the following issue:

"Did the Appellate Court correctly conclude that the trial court had properly denied the defendant's request for a jury instruction that would require the jury to reach a verdict of not guilty unless it was unanimous in its conclusion that the state disproved each element of the defendant's self-defense claim beyond a reasonable doubt?"
