Opinion

The defendant's petition for certification for appeal from the Appellate Court, 158 Conn.App. 599, 119 A.3d 1245 (2015), is granted, limited to the following issue:

“Did the trial court deprive the defendant of a fair trial by refusing to strike a prospective juror for cause when the juror was a police officer whose supervisor was a member of the same department that investigated the defendant's criminal case?”

EVELEIGH and ESPINOSA, Js., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
