People v. Russell

Supreme Court of Michigan
Jul 28, 1998
458 Mich. 868 (Mich. 1998)

Opinion

No. 112005.

July 28, 1998.

Summary Dispositions July 28, 1998:

In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the judgment of the Court of Appeals is reversed, and the judgment of the Lenawee Circuit Court is reinstated. MCR 7.302(F)(1). The sentence imposed by the trial court is not disproportionate to the seriousness of the matter for which punishment was imposed. The application for leave to appeal as cross-appellant is denied because the Supreme Court is not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed. Court of Appeals No. 208314.

We would grant leave to appeal.
