The petitioner James A. Mitchell's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 188 Conn. App. 245 (AC 40927), is granted, limited to the following issue:

‘‘Did the Appellate Court correctly conclude that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in denying the petitioner's late petition for certification to appeal?’’ Dante R. Gallucci, assigned counsel, in support of the petition.
