ORDER DENYING REQUEST FOR EXTRADITION


The "FORMAL EXTRADITION REQUEST IS DENIED." (See Docket Entries #1, 18.) Respondent is hereby DISCHARGED.

The court clerk shall deliver a copy of this instrument to counsel by any receipted means.

The court clerk shall send a copy of this order via certified mail (return receipt), as well as a copy of the entire clerk's file in this miscellaneous action, to the Colin L. Powell, Secretary of State, 2201 C. Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20520. See 18 U.S.C. § 3184.

The court clerk shall also send a copy of this order via certified mail (return receipt) to Ambassador Juan Jose Bremer Martino, Embassy of Mexico, 1911 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20006.

The hearing currently scheduled for March 27, 2003, at 3:30 p.m. is canceled.
