         Prior report: Cal.App., 50 Cal.Rptr.2d 583.

         Petition for review GRANTED. The parties are also requested to brief the question of whether the insured may be required to bear those costs of defense that the insurer proves are attributable to non-covered causes of action. (See Cal.Rules of Court, rule 29(b)). We decline to review, at this time, the "additional issue" presented by insurer Liberty Mutual.

         GEORGE, C.J., and MOSK, KENNARD, BAXTER, WERDEGAR, CHIN and BROWN, JJ., concur.
