Action to recover damages for the alleged breach of a lease agreement, and for other relief, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of Ansonia-Milford, where the defendant filed a counterclaim, and referred to Hanon W. Russell, attorney state trial referee, who filed a report recommending judgment for the plaintiff on the complaint and for the defendant on the counterclaim; thereafter, the court, Mancini, J., rendered judgment for the plaintiff in accordance with the referee's report and modified the award to the defendant on the counterclaim, and the defendant appealed and the plaintiff cross appealed to this court. Reversed; further proceedings.
