AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 117.5guest passenger injured, sufficiency of evidence. In action for injuries sustained by guest passenger, evidence that defendant drove at a speed of 65 to 70 miles per hour on a wet highway, despite plaintiff's protests, and skidded off the road and collided with a pole, supported verdict for plaintiff, and verdict for $3,250 was not excessive where plaintiff was hospitalized for 10 weeks, her pelvic bone was broken in five places, and her bladder sustained a tear.

Appeal from Circuit Court of Peoria county; Hon. HENRY J. INGRAM, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in this court at February term, 1941.
