Ambrose v. Recorder's Court Judge

Supreme Court of Michigan
Oct 26, 1998
459 Mich. 882 (Mich. 1998)

Opinion

No. 110990.

October 26, 1998.

Leave to Appeal Denied October 26, 1998.

This denial should not be construed as approving the trial court's refusal to consider the motion for relief from judgment because defendant Ambrose had previously filed such a motion. Under MCR 6.502(G)(1), a criminal defendant may file one motion for relief from judgment after August 1, 1995, notwithstanding the defendant's having filed one or more such motions before that date.

Court of Appeals No. 198854.
